The SupplyOn Business Directory offers a central database containing up-to-date supplier master data and is the core feature of a successful supplier management system. It provides up-to-date, detailed information on your suppliers – from the contact person and range of products manufactured, to certificates. The data can be updated both by you and your suppliers and provides a flexible view of your individual supplier base. For example, you can see at a glance which suppliers are approved for which material groups and which supplier has which certificates.
Â
How it works: Your suppliers independently enter and maintain information typically available, such as manufacturing options, certificates, sites and contacts. In addition, you have the option of entering your own information which can be viewed only by your own company. This data can also be taken automatically from your company`s internal systems. Your suppliers are automatically notified when the quality and environmental-management certificates recorded in the database expire and are prompted to update the data. Thanks to a link to the Performance Monitor, you have direct access to the current assessment data for your suppliers.
| The Benefits |
| | Manage all supplier master data centrally and make this information available to all buyers within your company. | |
| | Thanks to the quality and environmental-management certificates stored on the system, you can provide proof of supplier certification as required for quality-management audits. | |
| | Use this data to search for and compare suppliers when dealing with requests for quotations. By doing so, you ensure non-approved suppliers do not receive requests for quotations. |
