The Arbeitsgemeinschaft Zulieferindustrie ArGeZ (Working Committee of the Supplier Industry) is a syndicate that was founded in 1993 by German trade associations. It represents approx. 8,000 supplier companies, and its task is to point out the interests of the mostly medium-sized supplier firms in public and in politics and to represent these interests to the buyer industries as well. The ArGeZ is a platform for a continuous dialogue between the supplier industry and the buyer industry. It advocates fair business relationships and a balanced relation between the suppliers and buyers from the industry and trade sectors.
Together with the ArGeZ, the shareholders of SupplyOn AG have agreed on clear ground rules during electronic purchasing over the Internet platform. The jointly adopted paper defines rules for the trusting and constructive cooperation of the participants and ensures that buying as well as selling companies will profit from using SupplyOn.
