SupplyOn Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI):

Optimal Production Planning with High Supply Reliability

As you need reliable information on the daily shipment requirements to  your customers, you will need  optimized production planning numbers to ensure shipments keep up with production demand. SupplyOn Vendor Managed Inventory makes this information available to you and enables you to ship according to plant requirement rather than guessing what the customer requires. You can then optimize production planning and prevent production shortages  and lower costs at the same time.

How it works: SupplyOn Vendor Managed Inventory lets you view the stock on hand and requirements planning of your customers. You then independently maintain warehouse stock levels within agreed minimum and maximum limits. E-mail alerts are automatically sent to users  if stock levels exceed or fall below defined limits. The stock situation can be visualized for any period into the future to permit timely identification of potentially critical situations. Scheduled deliveries can also be simulated to see how current stock in hand changes as a result of newly entered quantities.

Benefits
Plan production optimally and better utilize production capacities.
Receive advance warning of possible shortages – thus preventing panic ordering and costly emergency shipments.
Reliable information enables you to act in a consumption-oriented way instead of using delivery instructions.
What Our Customers Say
Petra Kaiser
General manager, Franz Wolf GmbH:

"Whereas classical delivery instructions provide us with information on dates and quantities only, the SupplyOn VMI approach means that we are aware of our customers´ actual stock situation and are able to react to critical developments at an early stage. Our production and delivery process is forward-looking and cost-effective, and our customers benefit from high reliability of supply."
