The bauma took place again from April 8 to 14, 2019 at the exhibition grounds in Munich-Riem. With 3,702 exhibitors from 63 countries and regions and an exhibition area of 614,000 m² (more than 6.6 million square feet), it is the largest trade fair in the world.

A very good reason for Dr. Lüddemann, Chairman of the Federation of the German Construction Industry (Hauptverband der deutschen Bauindustrie e.V., HdB) and his colleague, Dirk Siewert, Head of Civil Engineering and Construction Machinery Technology, to feel satisfied: More than 80 participants as well as 13 solution providers attended the debut product dialogue “Potentials of digital solutions in construction machinery technology”, which took place on March 19, 2019 on the premises of the Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft (htw) in Berlin. On March 4, 2019, Professor Dr. Tsipoulanidis, HWR Berlin, invited SupplyOn to give a guest lecture at the Business School of the Berlin School of Economics and Law on the digitization of the supply chain. The 8th Aviation Forum opened its doors on November 6-7. And more than 700 participants attended this 8th event of its kind, hosted again by Airbus CPO Dr Klaus Richter and organized by IPM.
The participating companies – among them airliners, OEMs, suppliers, BDLI, clusters, regional aerospace organizations, service providers and consulting companies – discussed hot topics like globalization, digitization and smart production. Read more

The Construction Equipment Forum – the first event of its kind.
On October 9, 2018, the IPM Institutes’s Construction Forum opened its doors for the first time to some 200 participants from various disciplines: building companies, OEMs, suppliers, representatives of the scientific community, and service providers. Professor Walther of IPM opened the event with a keynote speech on “Driving the future”, addressing alternative propulsions, automation, digitization, and competition. He emphasized the need to increase at digital competencies in the building equipment industry.
Due to the large number of speeches and talks held, Walther has compiled a subjective selection of what for him were the most prominent presentations and workshops. Read more
