SupplyOn at Hannover Messe
May 30 – June 2, 2022

At the Hannover Messe, SupplyOn is presenting a highly innovative use case for the traceability of production parts: This involves combining data from the shopfloor with SCM data in a digital twin in a way that allows conclusions to be drawn later about the origin and quality of the part with minimal effort.

This allows, for the first time, the creation of a digital twin that ensures traceability on the basis of serial and batch numbers from the order through production to final use by the end customer.

For all parties involved on the customer and supplier side, this means a considerable reduction of time and effort in the monitoring of order, production and quality, and thus high cost savings – not only but especially in the case of product recalls.

By the way: This traceability use case is also part of the Catena-X initiative and therefore highly relevant especially for companies in the automotive industry.
