BERU Group, the specialist for ignition technology, diesel cold start technology, electronic systems and sensor technology has decided to implement the SupplyOn WebEDI solution. In future, within the context of an SCM roadmap, the Ludwigsburg headquartered automotive supplier will be efficiently handling key procurement processes such as delivery instructions, orders, delivery notifications and credit notes across the Internet. Via SupplyOn WebEDI, BERU will be linking and integrating all strategic suppliers who have not been utilizing these standardized, electronic processes to date.

SupplyOn WebEDI is increasingly evolving into the standard solution in the automotive industry. Up to now, some 3,000 companies have opted for the solution to handle their logistics and financial processes. The data involved are encrypted to a high level of security and exchanged across a uniform platform between the ERP systems of the purchasing companies and their suppliers.
