SupplyOn, the leading Internet platform for the automotive industry, will expand its procurement solution effective as of August 1. The new function will enable buyers to more efficiently evaluate offers received by way of electronic offer requests handled across the SupplyOn platform. Advanced Reporting provides an optimal evaluation functionality, thereby rounding off the offer request process transacted via SupplyOn Sourcing.
Advanced Reporting features the option of storing all of the calculations conducted in evaluating an offer in a format enabling future requests to be assessed and evaluated in the same manner. In this way, also additional modifications in the evaluation process, such as inserted, renamed or deleted fields can be accessed at a later date. This saves time and enhances comparability in evaluating offers.
Using Advanced Reporting, buyers have an overview over all offers in a spreadsheet format, while all the relevant information on individual suppliers is presented on separate datasheets. Requests with similar structures can be bundled for evaluation purposes.
As the tool is based on Microsoft Excel, buyers enjoy all the advantages of working with a familiar tool and benefit from the Excel standard functionalities.
