  • Your goal is to use SupplyOn software solutions and services (products) to simplify the day-to-day monitoring of your customers along the distribution chain.
  • You describe the vision for the product you are responsible for in line with customer requirements and set targets.
  • You then define the requirements for achieving the target and prioritize the product functions accordingly.
  • In addition to working with the customer, you will be in close contact with development teams to analyze requirements and ensure the timely delivery of products and their functions.
  • You create and maintain the product backlog to ensure that priorities are set correctly and aligned with the product goals.

  • You are the main point of contact for all product-related internal and external stakeholder inquiries and offer your support.
  • To identify opportunities for product improvements, you will carry out competitor analyses, anticipate industry trends, seek inspiration and keep yourself up to date.

Application of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) at SupplyOn

  • As a Product Owner at SupplyOn, you have the opportunity to become certified in SAFe.
  • Every quarter, you take part in the SupplyOn-wide planning event (= Program Increment (PI) Planning) in Hallbergmoos near Munich. Here, for example, the overall vision is developed across departments and attention is paid to dependencies and risks when planning the next three months.
  • The business owners then adapt the overall holistic vision to the individual product visions and values, which you as a product owner can then use as a guide for your work.
  • Once you have set requirements and priorities and maintained the backlog, your work in the Scrum team begins. You will be guided by the agile manifesto.
  • You communicate openly and transparently and take part in regular meetings, reviews, retrospectives and feedback loops.
  • You learn continuously, recognize mistakes quickly, correct them quickly and respond to new opportunities and challenges with agility.
