E-invoicing obligation in Germany and how SupplyOn supports you to meet this challenge

E-invoicing is going to be mandatory in Germany – what needs to be done?

On March 22, 2024, the Growth Opportunities Act was passed by the Bundestag and Bundesrat in Germany. Part of the law is the introduction of mandatory eInvoicing for Germany. This means that from 2025 all companies must be able to receive digital invoices. From 2028, paper or PDF invoices will no longer be allowed in Germany, only machine-readable e-invoices. The introduction is planned in stages and will take place between 2025 and 2027.

SupplyOn’s “eInvoicing Germany” solution supports companies in implementing the legal requirements and enables 100% of German e-invoices to be received and processed via a central input channel.
