Girls’Day 2026 at SupplyOn

How does a product actually arrive exactly when we need it, without us giving it much thought? And what happens behind the scenes to make that possible?
These were the questions that marked the start of our Girls’Day. And it did not stay theoretical for long.
Under the motto “Your day, your path: Discover with us how tech and AI connect the world,” we welcomed five participants to our office in Hallbergmoos. It quickly became clear that this day would not be about listening alone. After a brief introduction to the topic of supply chains, things got started right away. Our office became a logistics hub. The task was clear: get a disrupted supply chain moving again.

When theory suddenly becomes reality
During our scavenger hunt, the participants worked their way through different stations step by step. A racing car, dismantled into many individual parts, was stuck somewhere in the system. Strikes, traffic jams and planning errors did not make things any easier. For every task they solved, the participants received another component. Some things worked right away, others did not. Decisions had to be made even though not all the information was available. And that was exactly what made the difference.
In the end, a completed racing car stood on the table. But more importantly, there was the feeling of having worked through a real challenge together.

There is not just one right path
Part of the day was also dedicated to topics that have long since become part of our everyday lives. Artificial intelligence and cybersecurity were made tangible through an interactive quiz. The participants learned how to recognize phishing attempts and assess which content might have been created by AI. Alongside these insights, something else was important to us: showing that there is not just one right path. Our colleagues shared their own career journeys. They spoke about decisions that were not always straightforward and about moments when they simply tried things out. Very often, these are exactly the steps that help us move forward. Every day, we see that development needs space. Space to ask questions, test things and find your own path. Perhaps this day was a first impulse for some. For others, simply an exciting insight.
For us, days like this show how much can happen when we offer a look behind the scenes. That is why we will continue to take part in Girls’Day in the future.
