Use Cases Überzeugender Branchenansatz: Rail-Community von SupplyOn steigert Effizienz der Bahnindustrie Die Schweizerischen Bundesbahnen, kurz SBB, bilden mit rund 34.000 Mitarbeitern, einem Streckennetz von über 3.000 Kilometern und knapp einer halben Milliarde Fahrgästen pro Jahr die staatliche Eisenbahngesellschaft der Schweiz, bestehend aus den vier Divisionen Personenverkehr, Cargo, Infrastruktur und Immobilien. Die Division Personenverkehr hat 2016 die Initiative ergriffen, den Bestellprozess, der bis dato mit hohem manuellen Aufwand per E-Mail und Fax abgewickelt wurde, auf einen durchgängig digitalen Prozess über die Lösung RailSupply von SupplyOn umzustellen. Industry News InnoTrans 2016: Supply Chain Prozesse im Fokus Vom 20 bis 23.09.16 fand auf dem Berliner Messegelände die elfte Auflage der InnoTrans statt. Auch diesmal pilgerten wieder Heerscharen von Interessenten aus dem In- und Ausland zur Messe. Wenn man den Einschätzungen einiger erfahrener InnoTrans-Besucher Glauben schenken darf, dürfte die Messe auch dieses Jahr wieder einen neuen Besucherrekord aufgestellt haben. Herr Fülling, was sind derzeit die größten Herausforderungen in der Supply-Chain zwischen Zulieferern und Fertigungsunternehmen in der Bahnbranche?Die größte Herausforderung für die Bahnindustrie ergibt sich aus den Auswirkungen der Globalisierung der Beschaffungsmärkte. Die Tatsache, dass es für Supply-Chain-Prozesse keine allgemein gültigen Standards in dieser Industrie gibt, führt vor allem wenn global eingekauft wird zu einer hohen Prozesskomplexität und -varianz. Hinzu kommt, dass sich die Fertigungstiefe in den letzten Jahren auch in der Bahnindustrie deutlich verringert hat und der hohe Grad der Arbeitsteilung zu mehr Interaktion und Kollaboration in den Prozessen geführt hat.
