SupplyOn presents a newly developed solution for supplier assessment:
Performance Monitor allows targeted supplier development
SupplyOn has completely redeveloped its solution for efficient supplier assessment. SupplyOn's Performance Monitor allows users to analyze in many different ways supplier evaluation data, for example on parts quality and delivery reliability. Both parties involved in a customer-supplier relationship are provided with an important management tool which is fundamental for successful supplier development. The new solution is characterized by an intuitive user interface with a completely new design, which allows very fast retrieval of data and offers various new filter and analysis functionalities.
The new Performance Monitor with its reporting functions provides users at management level with a quick overview of the essential key performance indicators. The company assessing the performance of its suppliers can also carry out a comparative analysis. Employees from the operating departments benefit in particular from detailed analyses which are possible at individual part levels. Users can create individual filter profiles to retrieve relevant data in next to no time. Multiple filters applicable across all areas present almost unlimited analysis options.
The raw and evaluation data are taken from the assessing companies' ERP systems via an XML interface and are processed according to specific rules. The evaluations calculated using the raw data are displayed in SupplyOn's Performance Monitor. Both parties - the assessing and assessed companies - can access these for analysis. The prepared evaluation data can be downloaded as a PDF or an Excel file for further processing in internal systems.
The Performance Monitor is used by many companies for targeted development of suppliers. According to Berthold Schuster, Head of eBusiness Solutions at ZF Friedrichshafen AG, SupplyOn provides a solution for the costs-intensive, paper-based assessment process: "A supplier must be able to analyze without delay and rapidly the current evaluation data at various detailing levels. It is the only way to recognize if our supplier quality requirements have been met or if improvement measurements must be taken. Comparing the current evaluation with previous data will help suppliers to improve their performance in the long term, which is exactly what we wish for. This is why SupplyOn's Performance Monitor plays a key role in the supplier development at ZF."
The solution is currently used by more than 2,000 companies that wish to specifically eliminate weaknesses in product quality and delivery reliability.
